It won’t commonly be considered the best game in the field of betting, but keno has massive amounts of dedicated supporters. And so it should! It’s a consistently entertaining lottery-like game that’s easy to master, readily available in loads of assorted styles, and one that may yield millions for gamblers who learn its limitless subtle rules. But let’s start with the basic rules here.

When describing keno to beginners, some betting experts compare it to bingo. This is at least in some ways correct, in that both games are generally numerical. Yet to take that comparison too far would be to undervalue the many unique aspect that make keno so fun. Unlike bingo, keno users have the power to select the numbers for each card.

Keno cards have a total of eighty numbers, but the player is accord an extra degree of personal responsibility by being able to determine as many (or as few) numbers as she feels they need. And it doesn’t take a doctor of keno to come up with how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all your chosen numbers with a good oldmarker like you had when you were in grade 3.

Now that you have selected your numbers, take the game card back to the person at the keno booth. The keno pit manager will record your numbers and then hand you a receipt. Do not drop this (potentially) lucrative piece of paper! Even if the clerk remembers your face and wants help out, without a winning slip with you, you will collect precisely $.00 for your efforts.

OK, so there you have strategy number one: always take care to keep your keno ticket. Let us move to something a little more advanced, ok?

After you’ve picked out your numbers, get into a comfy keno booth and observe the action happen on the monitor. This is where the winning numbers are displayed in lights. If you selected winning numbers, mark your card appropriately. Be sure not to take too much time, or sit there praising yourself for an obnoxious length of time. You need to get up to the keno booth to get your winnings, since a new keno game will most likely start up within 5 minutes.

Strategy #2: always make it back to the keno booth on time!

Since you can not trust yourself to make that 5 minute margin each time, you always retain the option of using a "multi-race" ticket. These include the same set of your chosen numbers on anywhere from two to 20 tickets. When the maximum number of games (fitting the number of tickets) is completed, you will then be able to get off your lazy butt and go retrieve your winnings.

Still another alternative is known as a "stray and play" keno card, which usually lets you make number selection for 30 keno games or more. Golly, you can take all the time in the world and not have to fret about getting back in time to get your numbers. Most "stray and play" game cards are good for up to a whole year after purchase!

So now you know a number of required methods for winning keno. If you are a knowledgeable gambler, they might appear to be incredibly obvious.
