Introducing Keno

Keno is one of those games you either have knowledge of or you don’t. It is generally deemed as a lottery in the casino. Like the lottery, the game is made up of numbers being drawn. The object is to pick the numbers that will be selected. The game of Keno can be either quick or leisurely based on the casino. By gambling on Keno on the net you can set the pace of the game. For me, I love real life keno. You relax in a lounge, if you want, and play. Keno is a game that you don’t need to be present to enjoy and be a winner. For instance, you could purchase a ticket for 20 games and then head off to gamble on something else in the casino or even your hotel room if you’re staying in the casino.

Keno Board

The game is wagered on on a board. The Keno board consists of eighty total numbers – numbered 1 to 80. The top 40 are called the top portion and the 2nd forty are known as the bottom half.

Participating in Keno

Each game of Keno plays out the same. The game starts, and 20 numbers are picked. The casino may be using the ball system. Ping pong like balls are sucked up and selected, exactly like the lottery on TV. Other casinos utilize computers. If a number you checked is selected, that is referred to as a "hit." When all twenty numbers have been picked, the game finishes and winning tickets are cashed-in.

There is a lot of choices in the game of Keno. For instance, you may pick a single number, two numbers and so forth-up to 20 numbers. Usually, you need to hit a majority of your numbers to come away with something. For instance, if you select six numbers, you will generally need to hit 3 to win your money back.

Keno Pay outs

The pay outs in Keno are fairly good. The odds of getting a win depends on the total numbers selected. For example, if you select two numbers, you have a six percent chance of hitting your ticket. Each casino has their own pay outs. If you are playing on the net, be sure you look everywhere for the best pay outs first.
