It might not often be looked at as the most lucrative game in the realm of wagering, but keno has tons of zealous followers. And so it should! It’s a regularly thrilling lottery-esque game that’s uncomplicated to pickup, readily available in a number of assorted variations, and one that might yield millions of dollars for players who master its numerous subtle rules. But let’s start with the basics for now.

When defining keno to beginners, some wagering experts compare it to bingo. This is at least to a certain degree apt, in that both games are essentially numerical. Do not misplace this (potentially) expensive piece of paper! Even if the keno pit manager remembers your loud shirt and wants help out, without a winning ticket on you, you will collect exactly $.00 for your actions.

Ok, there you have strategy #1: always be sure to keep your keno receipt. Let us get on to something a bit more useful, yes?

Now that you’ve marked your numbers, get into a comfortable keno booth and watch the action take place on a monitor. That is where the winning numbers show up in lights. If you selected winning numbers, mark your card accordingly. Be sure not to drag your feet, or sit there congratulating yourself for too great a length of time. You need to get back to the keno booth to collect your winnings, and then a new keno game will surely begin within not too many minutes.

Strategy number two: always make it back to the keno stand on time!

Assuming you do not trust yourself to make that 5 minute margin every time, you always retain the option of using a "multi-race" ticket. These include the self same set of your chosen numbers on anywhere from two to twenty slips. When the maximum number of keno games (matching the amount of tickets) is finished, you can then get off your lazy back side and go collect your winnings.

Yet another opportunity is referred to as a "stray and play" keno ticket, which generally lets you make number selection for thirty keno games or more. Golly, you can take vacation to Greece and not have to get uptight about getting back in time to get your winnings. Most "stray and play" game cards are good for up to a whole year after purchase!

So now you know a few required strategies for winning keno. If you are a knowledgeable player, they might seem stupidly obvious. But it does not hurt to brush up on the fundamentals, and if you are a novice player, every tiny bit of direction will help make your keno experience more exciting.
