It will not often be deemed the sexiest game in the field of gaming, but keno has massive amounts of zealous enthusiasts. Why wouldn’t it? It’s a regularly entertaining lottery-ish game that’s uncomplicated to play, readily available in several assorted formats, and one that can pay out mega-dollars for those who learn its innumerable subtle rules. After you’ve marked your numbers, take your game card back to the person at the keno stand. The keno pit manager will record those numbers and then hand you a receipt. Do not misplace this (potentially) lucrative piece of paper! Even if the keno pit manager remembers your mug and wants help out, without a winning ticket in hand, you will collect precisely $.00 for your time spent.

So, there you have strategy number one: always make sure to keep your keno slip. Let’s move on to something a bit more complex, yes?

Once you’ve selected your numbers, get into a nice keno booth and watch the action happen on a video monitor. That is where the winning numbers show up for all to see. If you selected winning numbers, mark your card aptly. Be sure not to dilly dally, or sit there praising yourself for an obnoxious length of time. You must get back to the keno booth to redeem your winnings, since a new drawing will most likely start within a few minutes.

Strategy number two: always be sure to get back to the keno booth on time!

Assuming you do not trust yourself to meet that 5 minute deadline each time, you always have the option of purchasing a "multi-race" ticket. These include the very same set of your selected numbers on anywhere from two to twenty cards. When the max amount of rounds (fitting the amount of tickets) is played out, you should then get off your numb rump and go collect your winnings.

Yet an additional option is recognized as a "stray and play" keno card, which usually lets you make number choices for 30 games or more. Gosh, you can take vacation to Italy and not have to fret about getting back in time to redeem your winnings. Most "stray and play" tickets are good for up to a whole year after you purchase it!
