Keno Strategies That Win

It will not often be thought of as the funnest game in the arena of wagering, but keno has massive amounts of steadfast fans. And why not? It’s a consistently thrilling lotto-esque game that’s uncomplicated to play, readily available in tons of assorted formats, and one that will pay out millions for gamblers who learn its many subtle rules. But let’s deal with the beginner’s rules here.
When describing keno to novices, some gambling experts compare it to bingo. This is at least partially apt, in that both games are generally numerical. However, to take that comparison too far can be to minimize the endless unique traits that make keno so compelling. Unlike bingo, keno players have the freedom to select the numbers for every card.
Keno cards have a grand total of 80 numbers, but the player is accord an increased level of personal responsibility by being able to choose as numerous (or as few) numbers as he or she needs. And it doesn’t take a keno superstar to figure out how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all your desired numbers with a normalmarker like you used back in the day.
After you have marked your numbers, carry your game card back to the nice person at the keno booth. The keno pit manager will record those numbers and then give you a receipt. Do not lose this (potentially) lucrative piece of paper! Even if the keno pit manager remembers you and wants help out, without a winning receipt in hand, you will win precisely $.00 for your actions.
OK, so there you have strategy numero uno: always take care to keep your keno receipt. Let us go on to something a little bit more complicated, yes?
After you’ve selected your numbers, get yourself into a nice keno booth and observe the action take place on the video monitor. That is where the winning numbers show up for us. If you checked winners, mark your card appropriately. Sake care not to drag your feet, or sit there congratulating yourself for too great a length of time. You want to get up to the keno booth to collect your winnings, and a new drawing will almost certainly begin within not too many minutes.
Strategy #2: always be sure to get back to the keno booth on time!
Assuming you can’t trust yourself to meet that five-minute deadline each time, you always retain the option of using a "multi-race" card. These include the self same set of your handpicked numbers on anywhere from two to 20 slips. When the max amount of rounds (matching the amount of tickets) is played, you will then be able to get off your lazy back side and go redeem your winnings.
Still another option is recognized as a "stray and play" keno card, which normally allows you make number selection for thirty keno rounds or more. Heck, you can take a Swedish massage and not have to fret about getting back in time to redeem your numbers. Most "stray and play" tickets are good for up to a whole year after you purchase it!
