It won’t ordinarily be looked at as the best game in the field of gambling, but keno has millions of devoted fans. And so it should! It’s a constantly entertaining lottery-esque game that’s simple to master, readily available in several assorted formats, and one that will return mega-dollars for gamblers who learn its numerous subtle intricacies. But let’s begin with the basics here.

When defining keno to amateurs, some gaming masters compare it to the lottery. This is at least nearly correct, in that both games are essentially numerical. Keno cards have a total of 80 numbers, but the gambler is given an extra degree of personal responsibility by being able to determine as numerous (or as few) numbers as he desires. And it doesn’t take a keno superstar to ascertain how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all your handpicked numbers with a every day oldball point pen like you used when you were in grade 3.

Now that you’ve picked your numbers, take the game card back to the person at the keno booth. The nice person will record your numbers and then hand you a receipt. Now that you’ve checked off your numbers, get yourself into a nice keno booth and observe the action happen on the keno monitor. That’s where the winning numbers are displayed for all to see. If you marked winning numbers, mark your card aptly. Sake care not to dally, or sit there congratulating yourself for too great a length of time. You want to get up to the keno stand to redeem your winnings, since a new round of keno will probably get going within a few minutes.

Strategy number two: always make sure to get back to the keno stand on time!

Assuming you don’t trust yourself to make that 5 minute margin each and every time, you always retain the option of buying a "multi-race" card. These include the self same set of your desired numbers on anywhere from 2 to 20 slips. When the max amount of keno games (the same as the amount of tickets) is finished, you should then get off your numb back side and go collect your winnings.

Another alternative is known as a "stray and play" keno card, which normally lets you make number choices for 30 keno games or more. Hell, you can take vacation to Italy and not have to worry about getting back in time to redeem your numbers. Most "stray and play" slips are good for up to a whole year after it’s purchased!
